Blue Friday


Sunday football is coming around again, and it is time for the Hawks to kick some 49’er whiner bottom. Here are some recipes/ ideas for this weeks game-

  1. If your anything like me, I anxiously wait for the start of crockpot season. There is something so great about throwing a few ingredients in a pan, cooking it for eight hours and coming home to knowing dinner is done. One of my recents favors Is Bacon Mac and Cheese (if you don’t like cheese or are going low carb keep scrolling, LOL) –


  1. 2 cups cooked Macaroni Noodles
  2. 4 oz cream cheese
  3. ½ cup Mayonaise
  4. 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  5. 1 cup shredded provolone Cheese
  6. 1/2 cups shredded parmesan Cheese
  7. Cream Cheese
  8. 14 oz can of evaporated milk
  9. ½ cup sour Cream
  10. Cooked bacon Bits
  11. Italian panko crumb
  12. 1 t. salt
  13. ½ t. pepper


  1. With cooking spray, spray a large 5-6qt crock pot
  2. In a stove top pot, cook macaroni until al dente
  3. Drain noodles and rinse with cold water, place macaroni in the crockpot
  4. Add cheeses, sour cream, mayo, salt, pepper, and bread crumbs- stir to mix
  5. Pour evaporated milk over top the mixture
  6. Cook on low for 2 hours, stirring once halfway through
  7. Cook bacon and cut into pieces- stir into mac and cheese



2. Easy, easy pizza bites. Pizza is a sure hit, and especially in finger food form.


  1. Canned refrigerator crecent rolls
  2. Mozzerella cheese
  3. Your choice of pizza toppings
  4. Pizza sauce/marinara sauce
  5. Garlic Powder
  6. Italian Seasoning


  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees
  2. Unroll crescent rolls
  3. Fill with cheese and pizza toppings of your choice (pepperoni, pineapple, ham, sausage, veggies,etc.)
  4. Sprinle with seasonings
  5. Roll up crescent rolls
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes
  7. Serve with warm pizza/marinara sauce pizzarolls


3. Beans, beans the musical fruit- the more you eat… The more you want? Bean Dip is such an easy creation and here are some simple additives to give it a kick.




  1. Canned beans
  2. Sour cream
  3. Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  4. Salsa
  5. Canned Chilies for spice
  6. Avocado
  7. Green onions



  1. In a baking dish, pour in beans and begin to heat on low
  2. Dump in cheese, sour cream salsa, and chilies
  3. Pour into baking dish and bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Pull the bean dip out sprinkle second layer of cheese
  4. Cut up pieces of avocado and sprinkle over the top
  5. Drizzle layer of sour cream
  6. Add Green onions on top
  7. Serve with fritos or tortilla chips
